Grooming Courses

Welcome to Dee for Dogs Grooming Academy Ltd.  We offer nationally recognized qualifications.  We follow strict guidelines and offer structured courses.  Our Centre is audited yearly and all health and safety procedures followed.

Our salon is fully equipment with all the latest resources so that you can not only learn with the best but you have the best equipment to learn with.

Our courses run from 9.30 am to 3/4 pm.  You can attend 4 days a week or 1 day a week.  Our courses are totally flexible to ensure you the learner can fit your dreams into your normal working week.

We believe in continually improving our skills so that we can pass our knowledge onto you.

We guarantee you will get the very best tuition with full support whilst on the course and after you have completed your course.  We will invite you to our busy Facebook group where you with have access to 24 hour support and guidance, access to tutorials and other past and present students work and progress.  Rest assured you will never be alone whether it be for assistance with a groom or a friendly chat there will always be someone there for you.

If you are a total beginner, and would like to change your profession or already working within the industry and would like to gain your qualifications or simply improve your skills we can assist you.

Covers Handling and health checking, preparation brushing out bathing and drying.

Including a 10 hour CPD Accredited on-line first aid course.

We aim to each 4 techniques clipping, scissoring, hand striping and grooming out. You will be taught the basic head, body, tail and ear shapes that will cover most of pet styles.

By the end of this course you will be confident in styling and finishing but would aim to improve your speed.

You will also gain a recognised qualification.

This course is designed for those students who wish to complete both Level 2 and Level 3 qualification together. It is designed for those students have a career in professional dog grooming. You will cover a variety of styles and techniques which will enable you to groom all types of pet dogs.

Level 3The Open Learning Courses are designed for those students who are already working within the industry and who have completed their Level 2 qualification.

These students will be competent dog groomers and be able to groom a dog in a breed standard trim in suitable timescale.

You will be required to put together a portfolio of evidence. Proof of working within the industry and certificate will be need for this course.
